To all Taxpayers in Kewaunee County RAVE Alert – Kewaunee County’s Mass Emergency Notification System
Kewaunee County has been using Rave Alert, its Mass Emergency Notification System as of January 2018. Rave Alert is a voluntary sign-up notification system and a person can discontinue at any time. There is no cost associated with registering for this service provided by Kewaunee County. Any time there is an emergent message sent out via Rave Alert to the public or to a specific area in the county it only reaches those who have registered with Rave Alert. This could be for severe weather, water advisory, missing person, open shelter location, etc. This type of message will only go to those who have registered with the Kewaunee County Mass Emergency Notification System.
To register go to: www.kewauneeco.org , click on the Emergency Notification Registration found on lower left of main page, and then the Stay Informed icon. If you need your emergency messages to be received in any language other than English, please create an account and select your language of choice. If you have any issues with entering information, or don’t have a computer, please call us and we will assist you between 8am to 4pm at 920-845-9701.

This ordinance's purpose is intended to regulate outdoor residential lighting in order to reduce and prevent light pollution withing the Village of Luxemburg, promoting the public health, safety, prosperity, aesthetics and general welfare of the community. In the past, the Village of Luxemburg offered residents "Pool Filling or New Lawn Watering" credits on their sewer charges. Effective April 12, 2016 the Village Board voted unanimously to eliminate this service. Per April 12, 2016 Village Board Meeting.
BUILDING PERMITS
Before you start any building project, please check with our office to determine if you will need a building permit. Many home improvement projects require a permit in advance, such as the following:
- a. building additions
- b. windows & siding
- c. roofing
- d. decks
- e. inside remodeling
- f. plumbing or electrical upgrades
- g. installation of central air systems
- h. in ground pools
- I. sheds and other detached storage buildings
- j. fences

Drug Drop Off Site
The Village Hall has a drug drop off container for you to dispose of your expired prescription drugs, vitamins or any other drug that is in pill form. Just take your unwanted pills and place them in a clear ziplock bag and bring them to Village Hall to dispose of. We do not take any sharps, liquid or cream forms of drugs or blister packs. The Police Department secures disposal of all drugs twice a year for residents.
Energy Assistance
Energy Assistance is offered to those that qualify through Energy Services, Inc. for Kewaunee County. Contact (920)388-0652 to schedule an appointment or for all other questions.
DOG LICENSING
Dogs are required to be licensed in the Village by March 31st of each year.
You will need to provide the Village with a copy of your pet's rabies vaccination documentation and payment of the fee of $3.00 for spayed or neutered pets, or $8.00 if not altered.
Note that after April 1st of each year, a late fee fo $5.00 per animal is charged for licenses obtained late.
Our office hours are 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Monday-Friday. If these hours do not fit into your schedule, you may register your dog by mail. Fill out the Dog license form (Click Here), attach a copy of your rabies vaccination and payment for fee and drop in our dropbox or mail to the Village Hall. We will mail your dog tag to you.
